Pragelato live between its hamlets and cross-country centre
The webcams look over the museum area and Pragelato’s cross-country skiing centre in the upper Chisone Valley.
The two views show the village and areas dedicated to Nordic skiing, making snow, cloud and valley conditions visible.
Pragelato consists of several hamlets spread along the valley floor beneath wooded slopes and Alpine side valleys.
History and local identity
The community preserves Occitan language and traditions. Historically based on mountain farming and livestock, the area hosted Nordic skiing and ski jumping events during the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Sestriere, Fenestrelle and Sauze d’Oulx are accessible along the valley, while Val Troncea offers natural landscapes and high-altitude routes.
