Etna North and Piano Provenzana live

The webcam shows Piano Provenzana on the northern side of Mount Etna within the municipality of Linguaglossa.

History and local identity

Linguaglossa developed on the volcano’s north-eastern slope amid agriculture, vineyards and forest resources. Eruptions have repeatedly transformed roads and the high-altitude landscape.
