Sestriere live from the Alpette area

The Sestriere webcam looks towards the Alpette area and shows the high-mountain environment of the resort in real time.

The live view helps you observe snow cover, cloud and visibility on the pistes and slopes. These conditions can change quickly at altitude, making an updated visual check especially useful.

Outside the ski season, the camera continues to show the Alpine landscape, with changing colours on the slopes and different sky conditions.

History and local identity

Sestriere stands at more than 2,000 metres on the pass of the same name. The resort was developed in the twentieth century as a winter-sports centre, and its cylindrical towers remain its most recognisable architectural feature.
